Visa Requirements

Because the information on visa requirements for international visitors is subject to change, we encourage our international participants to contact the nearest UAE embassy for latest information regarding UAE visas and entry restrictions. For the latest information go to Dubai Tourist website

However citizens of the following countries do not need to apply for a visa;
they will get entry permission directly from the airport:

Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, United Kingdom (with the right of abode in the UK), France, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Spain, Monaco, Vatican City, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and holders of Hong Kong SAR passports will be granted a free of charge for visit visa on arrival in the UAE.

All other nationalities please contact your nearest UAE embassy, since a visa must be obtained prior to arrival in the United Arab Emirates!
Once you have booked your hotel accommodation, your hotel will send you a visa application form and confirmation of the application processing fees. The visa rates applicable are between AED 180 to AED 340 depending on the processing time (Normal process or Urgent process). Note that these fees are non-refundable and allow 7-10 working days in order to process a visa (Fridays and Saturdays are the public holidays in the UAE). To obtain your visa, you must provide the following documents: a clear photocopy of your passport, a visa form duly completed and signed and
a photocopy of the front and back of a valid credit card. Keep in mind that your passport must be valid at least six months beyond your intended stay.

Please note that as per Dubai Immigration policy, the hotel will require a guarantee of AED 5000 in order to process your visa. This amount will not be debited from your account, but pre authorised.
